Welcome to The Principled Capitalist
A Nonprofit Commitment & Tax Paying Societal Partner
The Principled Capitalist, LLC (TPC) is committed to educational endeavors and not making profit. A structure chosen resulting from one of several surprising findings discovered through the journey in the book "America 5.0". All products and services are educational. No salary, if one is taken, will exceed the bottom 10% for any position as published in Professionals for Nonprofits Group (PNP) report “Nonprofit Salaries and Staffing Trends.” All net proceeds after direct expenses, which are limited to rent, salaries, utilities and other costs needed to operate (no investors or investor payouts, no real estate not directly occupied, or other unrelated investments permitted) will be distributed to the National WWII Museum, Urban Institute, Prison Policy Institute, and United States Holocaust Museum. Their work for the betterment of our country is acknowledged, appreciated, and referenced throughout America 5.0. A written nonprofit commitment from a Limited Liability Corporation that in turn provides full tax support of local schools, firefighters, police and other services through taxes.

About the Founder & Company
Chuck Marvin is an entrepreneur, construction consultant, and award-winning technical author with more than three decades of experience solving complex real-world problems. As co-founder of Roof Solutions Incorporated (RSI), a national building envelope consulting firm established in 1994, he built a reputation for unbiased analysis, practical solutions, and principled decision-making in high-stakes environments.
Over the course of his career, Marvin has authored numerous technical articles on topics including energy conservation, environmental safety, asset management, and construction practices. His work has received national recognition, including the Richard M. Horowitz Award for Excellence in writing, and has been cited in court proceedings and industry publications.
His background extends beyond business into service and global experience. After serving in the 82nd Airborne Division, he lived in South Korea, where he taught English to government and professional institutions while continuing his education.
Politically unaffiliated for decades, Marvin brings an independent, solutions-driven perspective to the challenges facing the United States today. Through America 5.0, he applies the same principled, problem-solving approach that defined his career to address division, inequality, and the future of American governance.
Now semi-retired, he has turned his focus toward advancing a principled framework for societal reform and unity.
