I've been a registered independent for decades, and I have consistently voted for the candidate who demonstrates the greatest adaptation of principles through their actions. When imperfectly voting in 2016 for the Gary Johnson/Bill Weld ticket, both Republican governors in blue states, I was lectured repeatedly by Clinton and Trump supporters about how I was wasting my vote. Now a retired successful entrepreneur, having started our company with my wife on the back of high-interest credit cards, a possibility available in few other countries, my efforts are now directed at doing what I can to destroy this destructive yet dominant paradigm that the Democrats and Republicans are actual choices.
This is not to say there are no differences in any given election cycle. It is to say that on issues impacting the implementation of a socially just and unified nation, and through both policy and example, a more just and unified world, they have proven to be the same: proven to be the Uniparty They both have become egregiously unprincipled and have become worse over each of the last several election cycles. Immigration is a challenge either party can easily solve, literally, in a few sentences shown in the next blog. The book A5.0 shows all of this and that many policy positions once considered to be Democrat or Republican now to be the position of the other. A principled party, new or old, has to be developed.
We must insist on our candidates being committed to principles and not espousing values not in harmony with them. In selecting candidates, experience, education, and communication skills are important factors. Still, this means little if they use their talent and skills to deploy their values while disregarding principles, especially honesty and equality. Our last two presidents, one a Republican and one a Democrat, have taken the national debt from just under $20 trillion when President Trump first took office to over $38 trillion as of this writing shortly after President Biden left. The only item that has grown more than the debt is our nation's division. We will lose our nation on its current path - the Uniparty's path.
This inaugural blog, launched on my mother's birthday to honor her short life, begins the 2026 effort starting from a blank slate meaning no subscribers and no sales (all proceeds will be donated to the organizations listed as resources). I will address your questions weekly starting in the new year, post your offerings, provide specific insights, and perhaps with allies from all persuasions develop meaningful dialogue with actionable solutions the result. Thank you for caring about America's future.
